I took this shot on my way home today. I always wanted to try a shot like this. Actually ideally I wold love to get one like this when I’m stuck in traffic, but I think I’ll wait until someone else is driving before I attempt that. This shot a a 3 exposure HDR. I cropped it to get the mirror in  the bottom right. I guess I’m obsessed with reflections. TIA for your comments.

Todays’ image is the result of experimentation gone crazy. This is no way near what I intended. These are 3 filters. What I wanted to do, was to highlight the different colors in the filters. What I ended up with was  a cross between the olympic logo and the solar system….:) I’m thinking I should have started with a different background. Any ideas? TIA for your comments.

As I do this project, I’m learning where I want to be as a photographer. I always said I wanted to do portrait photography, and now I think I would add still life photography to that. I thoroughly enjoy staging my shots and making adjustments for lighting and such. These are my daughter’s tap shoes. I  could not find a completely white background around the house so I had to settle for an off-white one. The colorful reflections turned out to be a happy coincidence (for me anyway) since I wanted to introduce  some color into the image. TIA for your comments.

I stayed around the house again today.  This is a plant my wife and her cousin planted what feels like ages ago. It finally started to bloom, so today after watering  them I decided to make this picture. Images like these make me realize how much I need a macro lens. I’m not sure what the flower is though. Does anyone know? TIA for your comments.

I took a stroll around my neighborhood tonight. These images are some of what I noticed as I walked. I always wonder about the people who love in the houses, when I see their yards. TIA for your comments.

I’m enjoying doing this project. I’m actually learning to stage my images. This one was inspired by another photo blogger I met since I started this project. You can see her image here. The reflection is a bit blurry so I need to figure out how to fix that. All in all though, I like how it turned out. TIA for your comments.
