DP90: Reach out and touch

Took my daughter to a birthday party today at the Old Maryland Farm. We saw this little guy fluttering around. She was actually able to touch him. My little girl is getting pretty brave. The last encounter she had with butterflies ended with lots of crying…:) TIA for your comments.

DP71: Here fishy fishy fishy

After my short hiatus, I am back to my project. The family and I took ¬†trip t NC. it was fun. One of the highlights of the trip was out visit to the Georgia Aquarium, where we saw some amazing undersea creatures. It’s good to start posting again. TIA for your comments.

Today we had a family outing to the Old Maryland Farm. We saw lots of animals including ¬†‘ginormous’ bull. About halfway through our visit I spied this huge sunflower to take the shot. Afterwards, my daughter rode the carousel and then we all went for a train ride. Picture #1 is the chrome bell on top of the train’s engine. Since we went to the farm, I added an image of one of the farm’s residents smiling for the camera. It was good to get outside today. TIA for your comments.

Tonight I went in search of one of those nice pictures of a forest path with the setting sun streaming through the leaves. But as so often happens, plans change through no fault of your own. I saw this doe and immediately regretted leaving my 70-300mm lens in the car. This was as close as I could get. TIA for your comments.

I came across this little guy today on my picture hunt. I had just discovered some horses and on my way back, this tortoise was crossing the street in front of me. I could not pass up this chance. TIA for your comments.
