Sometimes restarting is as hard as starting. The past two weeks have been pretty hectic with vacation and cross-country driving. Of course when you get pack, then you have to all the stuff you haven’t been able to get to before. Today I think I’m finally even, with stuff around the house anyway. Now it’s back to my 365. After uploading this image, I realized it’s right in line with today’s daily shoot ‘How does your garden grow? Make a photo of something growing in your or someone else’s garden today.’ I like the contrast between the black and the yellow here. TIA for your comments.

I finally got a prime lens. After I figured out how to screw it onto my camera…:), I started taking some shots.  I love this little 50mm.  I hear many people say that when they started using this lens, it never left their camera. I definitely see what they mean; there is something very ‘comfortable’ about the lens. Now I need to go hunt for some unsuspecting models for my portraits..:)  TIA for your comments.

My wife planted some tomato plants a few weeks ago. There are quite a few tomatoes on the plants right now so I was out putting some stakes in for them to run on. That was when I decided on today’s image. TIA for your comments.

Day 2 of 365 and I’m already getting desperate. This swing set is actually in my neighbor’s backyard. I chose this shot for two reasons (excluding desperation); the color contrast  with green, yellow and natural wood, and the contrast in materials, between the synthetic and the natural.
